Anna Pashas

Anna joined Austin's Communication Station in July of 2018.  She received her Associate's degree in Applied Science from Loanstar Community College - Tomball in 2016.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

While completing her undergraduate degree, Anna had the opportunity to intern at an occupational therapy clinic in Houston, Texas.  It was here that she learned about sensory processing and what occupational therapy can do for children with special needs.  She immediately knew that her calling was to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) upon completing her undergraduate degree.  During OTA school she had the opportunity to complete fieldwork in a skilled nursing facility and an outpatient pediatric sensory clinic.  She found both experiences fulfilling but felt that continuing to assist children with a wide range of disorders was where her heart truly was.

Since receiving her OTA certification, Anna has worked as a pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant in Houston providing sensory integrative focused services at an outpatient facility.  She has experience treating diagnoses such as ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebal Palsy, and Autism.

Anna recently moved to Austin in July of 2018.  When Anna is not at work, she is most likely at the gym, traveling, listening to music, or trying new restaurants.
