Ashley joined Austin's Communication Station in August 2014. She received her Masterís degree in Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2013.
During graduate school, Ashley had the opportunity to work with both pediatric and adult populations. However, she has always loved working with the pediatric population. At Children's Hospital of New Orleans, she had the opportunity to work in both the inpatient and outpatient settings where she treated pediatric clients with several diagnoses including prematurity, genetic disorders, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, autism, cerebral palsy, stroke, and developmental delay.
Since graduating, Ashley has worked mainly in the outpatient pediatric setting where she has gained experience in working with a variety of diagnoses including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays in fine motor, gross motor, sensory dysfunction, and self-care skills.
Ashley grew up in Louisiana and moved to Austin in 2013. In her spare time, she can most likely be found exploring restaurants, parks, and museums around Austin.
