Julia earned her bachelor's degree from Texas State University and has a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She joined Austin's Communication Station in June of 2019.
During her time in graduate school, Julia received extensive exerpience working with adults and children from all walks of life. She gained experience evaluating and treating many different delays and disorders including voice, language, fluency, oral motor, articulation, feeding/swollowing, dysarthria, aphasia, cognition, as well as working with those with hearing impairments. Her passion in the field of Speech-Language Pathology include voice disorders and dysphagia and she is always looking for ways to learn more and better her practice.
Julia spends her free time with her incredible husband, Trevor, and their precious dog, Milo. She enjoys cooking, fishing, reading, watching good movies and will never pass up an opportunity to participate in a good trivia night! She grew up in East Texas and met her husband in San Marcos while attending Texas State University. They are both happy to call Austin their home and Julia is pleased to be part of the ACS team.
